Your timezone and language settings control how dates, times, and interface text appear across your Rackwave portal and all connected platform dashboards. Setting these correctly is especially important for reading delivery reports, understanding invoice due dates, and interpreting usage analytics accurately.
Why Timezone Matters
Every timestamp in the Rackwave ecosystem — message logs, invoice dates, subscription expiry times, report periods — is stored in UTC internally and then displayed to you in your configured timezone. If your timezone is not set correctly:
- Delivery reports will show activity at the wrong hours, making it hard to identify sending patterns.
- Invoice due dates may appear one day off from what your accounts team expects.
- Trial and subscription expiry times will be misread, leading to unexpected service interruptions.
- Scheduled messages (SMS campaigns, email batches) will dispatch at the wrong local time.
Asia/Kolkata (IST, UTC+5:30). This is the default timezone shown on the MigoSMTP and Telnxo dashboards and matches the timestamp format on Indian GST invoices.
How to Change Your Timezone
- Log in to your Rackwave client portal.
- Click your name or avatar in the top-right corner.
- Select My Account or Profile Settings.
- Scroll to the Preferences section.
- Click the Timezone dropdown and search for or select your timezone (e.g. Asia/Kolkata, America/New_York, Europe/London).
- Click Save Changes.
The change takes effect immediately — all timestamps on the portal will refresh to display in your new timezone on your next page load.

Date & Time Format Preferences
In addition to timezone and language, you can control how dates are displayed throughout the portal:
| Format | Example | Common In |
|---|---|---|
| DD/MM/YYYY | 07/06/2026 | India, UK, Europe, Australia |
| MM/DD/YYYY | 06/07/2026 | USA, Canada |
| YYYY-MM-DD | 2026-06-07 | ISO 8601 — developer preference, database exports |
How Timezone Affects Platform Dashboards
The timezone you set in the Rackwave portal is also passed to your MigoSMTP and Telnxo workspaces via SSO. This means:
- The greeting timestamp on both dashboards (e.g. Sunday, 07 June 2026 · 09:39 AM · Asia/Kolkata) reflects your configured timezone.
- Message logs and delivery timestamps in both platforms display in your timezone.
- Scheduled campaigns and messages use your timezone for dispatch timing.
- Daily/hourly limits reset at midnight in your configured timezone.
